Buying a condo, townhouse or penthouse in a resort community offers countless benefits for those looking to purchase a vacation or secondary home or invest in real estate. As a vacation property, owning your own condo in a resort offers you access to all of the amenities without the hassles of travel while being surrounded in a space that is comfortable and entirely your own.

Though smaller than villas or estates on the islands, condos and townhomes are also not assessed annual income taxes and are also lower maintenance. On-site management can provide on-going care and upkeep of the property while the homeowner is away. This negates the need to hire a local housekeeper or third-party management firm.

Buyers, however, should not purchase a condo in Turks and Caicos with the sole purpose of making money from vacation rentals. Buy the condo because you love it and you will use it!
